About an hour. No treatment is carried out on day one unless you are in pain and ask us to — the first appointment is for looking, explaining and planning.

Fillings & restorations
Tooth-coloured fillings, crowns and onlays — matched to the tooth rather than to a shade card.
Root canal treatment
Carried out here rather than referred out, usually in one or two visits.
Extractions
Including wisdom teeth, with a clear explanation of what recovery actually looks like.
Whitening & veneers
Cosmetic work discussed honestly, including when the answer is that you do not need it.
Children's dentistry
First visits kept short and uneventful, so the next one is easier.
