Bright
Path

Small groups · after school & weekends

Tutoring that
explains itself.

Not a rescue service and not a shortcut. Regular sessions, a tutor who knows where a student got stuck, and a note home that says something more useful than “good progress”.

Two people usually read this page

How it works.

For parents and carers

  1. A first conversation. What’s going well, what isn’t, and what the school has already said. Nothing is diagnosed in a phone call.
  2. A starting point. The centre suggests a subject, a stage and a group, and says plainly if tutoring is not the right answer.
  3. A regular slot. Same day, same tutor, so progress is cumulative rather than a series of introductions.
  4. A short note after each block. What was covered, what landed, and one thing to practise at home.

A real centre must set out its safeguarding policy, tutor checks, cancellation terms and how it handles student data before enrolling anyone.

For students

  1. It’s a small group. Usually three or four people, all roughly at the same point. Nobody performs for the room.
  2. You can say you’re lost. That’s the entire reason the session exists. It is not a test and nothing is reported to your school.
  3. Bring the thing you’re stuck on. A worksheet, a returned paper, a question you got wrong. Real work beats a general topic.
  4. You’ll leave with one job. Not a pile of homework — one specific thing to try before next time.
